Letter Puddles:)

Saw something like this on where else.......Pinterest!  So thought I would give it a try.  The idea I saw was making magnets and I have to say, that is what I had in mind when I purchased the materials and sat down to craft.  But, when they were done, I had too much fun sliding them around and playing with them and thought how fun this would be for students to practice spelling words or any type of word work activity.

What you need:
- 1 bag of clear puddles (flat glass stones, I call them puddles.  Dollar Tree! Score!)
- scissors
- Mod Podge
- Small paint brush
- Wax paper
- Alphabet stickers (dollar section Target)
Notice the magnets...told you that's what I had in mind..
This is too easy to do.  Simply cut out your letters to fit your puddles.  Then with your brush put a thin layer of Mod Podge onto the back/flat side of your puddle.  Then put your letter on and set it on a sheet of wax paper to dry:)
Putting them on the wax paper will keep them from sticking to something else if any of the Mod Podge leaks out.

We let our dry over night and ta-daa!

Aren't those fun?!  Don't you just want to dig in and make some words:)

Happy Craftin!!
